The Iowa Tourism Office and Choose Iowa have teamed up to sponsor the 2024-25 seasonal farm-to-table dining series. In collaboration with the Iowa Restaurant Association, four nationally renowned chefs, and four of Iowa’s most scenic farms, this series highlights the connection between agritourism and culinary innovation. Showcasing seasonal ingredients sourced from Iowa, each multi-course fine dining experience offers a unique opportunity to indulge in the finest of Iowa’s local flavors. With limited tickets, these exclusive dinners bring diners directly to the source of their expertly crafted meals.
Beyond bringing together chefs, farmers, culinarians, and travelers who value locally sourced food, this dinner series is also creating immediate and lasting educational opportunities for Iowa’s students. Before each dinner, local high school students will have the exclusive chance to tour the farm and select participants from culinary arts programs will be offered a once-in-a-lifetime mentorship. Under the guidance of award-winning chefs, these students will assist with ingredient preparation, plating, and gain invaluable real-world kitchen experience. Proceeds from the dinners will benefit the Iowa Restaurant Association Educational Foundation, which provides classroom resources, mentorship opportunities, and scholarships for high school culinary arts students.
